The cover image for this album was initially just the photograph in the center, which was taken by one of the band members. At first this photo was only being used for the CD and digital release of the album. The band later came to me to do the vinyl layout and I discovered that the original cover photo was too low res to fit the larger format for the vinyl. I created this border to add size to the image and to add to the visual narrative, hoping not to ruin the integrity and intended vibe of the original cover.
